Hi, my name is Kate Brull and I’m a small town lady with big city dreams! I’m a recent graduate of Loyola University Chicago and received my Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. Moving to and living now in Chicago has been such an exciting experience. I enjoy traveling, attending/planning social events, creating, shopping, keeping up with the latest music and fashion trends and so much more. I’m a social person and love meeting new people. I’m a team player and learn best by doing.
A little more about me…
I love traveling and discovering cultures! I’ve been fortunate to have many opportunities to travel with my family and hope to continue my adventures. Some of the places I’ve visited are: Australia, Italy, Hawaii, Mexico, Barcelona, Dublin, London and many places throughout the United States. My most recent adventure was studying abroad in London in the summer of 2012. While there I kept a blog for my personal enjoyment and had so much fun writing posts and adding photos.
Music is definitely something that keeps me going throughout the day. I enjoy all genres of music, it just depends on the mood I’m in. From spending summers in a garage with my friend’s high school band to stadium shows, I could never turn down tickets to a concert. Going to Belgium’s three day music festival, Tomorrowland, is on my bucket list. I’d also love to attend other major festivals, such as Coachella and SXSW.
Although I attended a private grade school and high school wearing uniforms, I found styling and accessorizing my uniforms so much fun. What better way to express oneself than through their outfits, makeup and hair?! Oh, and we can’t forget about nails! I love reading fashion magazines and blogs and also seeing the different street styles around the city, especially when traveling.
